Will just occasionally send you an email with news and interesting stuff.
You know what? I really dislike this... Having to write about myself and tell people who I am. Cause despite what I write here, you won't really truly know me or what I do until the day we meet. I might as well just include the bio-snippet from my late Tinder profile. "Corfitz. From 🇩🇰 lives in 🇬🇧.. Can order pizza in 3 different languages 🍕 and hold my breath for 38 seconds. Slightly introvert, loves to learn, drinks coffee, and accepts bribe in the shape of Korean barbecue."
Jokes aside, I am a consultant. I love design. But not just design as in how things look and feel. Nor how they work or what techniques have been used to make it. I love the design of the mind in particular and its ability to come up with these thoughts and ideas that push innovation and new technologies forward. I enjoy working with ambitious and creative people who engage and spend their time in creating and realising these new ideas.
For more than a decade now, I have spent countless hours on research and self-teaching in order to improve my skills and abilities in terms of design, programming, business, writing, etc. I thrive in the learning process and I actually consider myself as some sort of professional noob. What I mean by that is that I find myself constantly trying to learn something new and every time I feel that I have reached a good level of understanding, I begin teaching myself something else.
The thing is, as a professional noob I love to learn - and I love to use what I learn to help other businesses. From the past many years of studying, I have achieved Jedi-status in Alice's Wonderland, and that has made me realise who I actually am and what I am meant to do. It is my job to learn and explore all these new worlds of technology and design, cause then you don't have to. You are the person with a vision and a great idea. You are the person with the big picture and the ambition to make it happen. I am the person that helps you make it a reality.
And don't be afraid to challenge me in something I haven't done before, I am sure I can learn it 😉.
Aside from my daily duties as Creative Lead in Yummp Design Studio I also take part in multiple different projects and new businesses, either as partner or leading consultant.
I have met and worked with so many interesting people and teams. Many of which have been with multiple projects and some still this day today amazing partnerships and continuous collaboration.
Now it has been a month. What is my excuse? Honestly - I don't really have one.
It has been a crazy month, with my brothers comunion, family from Denmark, approaching deadlines, my own birthday suddenly coming up, and overall just a lot of stuff - and oddly enough, I really haven't had much to talk about.. At least I haven't had before!
Today - after a long time of continous development and work setting up a complete Kubernetes + Gitlab + GlusterFS + Microservice environment, I definitely have loads to talk about, but I have needed this month to catch up on some stuff, and not that the Daily Gakker takes a lot of my time, I just haven't had much to share the past time. That is going to chance for sure.
So stay tuned - I will be in touch shortly.
This is quite a big umbrella of things, but I specialise in brand strategy and help start-ups create amazing brands.
It is an odd thing to put on your CV, but you will be surprised how many out there actually don't use their head.
Brands, designs, products, coding, ideas and business. I develop on everything.
Probably one of my greatest powers. I learn very fast and am easily taught new concepts and technologies.
I started out as a graphic designer, but today I know that design is more than just about visuals - it is about emotions.
Well - not stuff that has been lost I would say.. I find patterns and possible solutions to some often complicated issues.
I am not just a passive mind procrastinating - I take big part in the actual making of products and solutions.
We all need our fuel.. Mine come in the shape of spanish Café con Leche, and aromatic Red Wine (after working hours of course).
I’m always happy to meet interesting people for coffee.
