Just do it!

Sometimes it is all that you have to do, to just make things happen. Not trying to rip off Nike here, but sometimes you just have to get in gear, and make stuff happen,

I am sure you are familiar with this feeling. You have a certain task you have to do, but suddenly your body gets this feeling of avoiding the task completely. Then your turn on a YouTube video or start scrolling through India on Google Earth (Procrastination) - and then you are hit by another feeling. A feeling of inaction. Knowingly you are avoiding a task that has to be done, and that thought haunts you while watching this video. You are perfectly aware of avoiding doing the things you have to do, but yet, you still don’t do them.

This is where self discipline and will power comes into play. Sometimes you just have to do it even though it sucks, but I got good news for you. Every time you manage to finalise a task that has to be done despite you feeling the urge to avoid it, you grow stronger, and for every time you make it easier for yourself to surpass this attempt to avoid the tasks in the future.

You will feel so much better every day. Get started. Work out. Get up at 6am and get to experience the sun rise. Finalise that report that had to be done 6 months ago. And finally send that thank you card to grandma for the ugly sweater she gave you last Christmas.

Just do it!
