Nothing wrong with being perfectionistic

… but don’t let it be a barrier that prevents you from reaching a goal.

I have been in the situation myself so many times. Wanting to build something and then my perfectionism takes over and has me spend 2 hours perfecting the corner radius of a text box. I mean… Sometimes those 2 hours can have been well spent on those rounded corners, but honestly I believe it is just a way for one to secretly procrastinate a bit and delay the more tedious but important work coming later.

I am indeed a perfectionistic, and I also believe that is one of the reasons I am able to do the things I do. Providing the quality of work I do, and you should definitely be perfectionistic about your work and creations. Just don’t let it dominate your workflow to the extend that you miss deadlines or can’t deliver.
