I myself have been sorta like a control freak whenever it came to have something to do with my work, project, business or whatever actually. But I have also realised that I can’t do everything on my own. Be sure to accept the help you can get even though you may fear for the result.
If someone is offering to help you manage certain aspects of your business to help you get started, you may get a feeling of discomfort as now you have to rely on another person in order to maintain this part – and will this person do a good enough job? Will they be able to do it right? Do they need too much help? Will it ruin my business if they don’t do it correctly?
To quickly answer your questions: No – they will never do as good a job as you, as you have certain ideas of you want it to be done, and nobody has the power to read your mind and achieve similar results. What they can do is use their own experience to help you, and use the tools they are familiar with so that they won’t have to bother you with too many questions or encounter technical issues. It will most likely not ruin your business unless they purposely do it in a harmful manner. Luckily you will still have the right to deny them future access if you do not like the progress they make.
Basically it is important for you to learn to accept the help you can get and learn to let other people do some of the tasks that not necessarily require your full attention. Otherwise you will drown in tasks to do, and you will not be able to achieve much in the long run.
