I think the goal in terms of making a really good brand is to aim for a state where you practically don’t need to display your logo. Mind you – you should always show your logo, but when you have reached the state where the voice in copy, the visuals and colours all combined bring out a feeling and perfectly tie together with your brand, and people – just by looking at it – know it is you, then you achieved a great brand.
Also worth noting: By “great” I am not referring to the “goodness” in a brand, but in terms of size and association from its audience.
