The struggle of finding a title

I am a person that changes my personal business card a lot. Pretty much due to my very broad field of interest. I have my daily duties as Creative Director at Yummp Studio, Directing Layout for a few monthly magazines, programming and developing solutions, apps, web components etc. Designing and making websites and so on. I am sure there are many out there with a wide area of expertise, but my main struggle with this, is to determine exactly who and what I am.

I carry 6 different business cards, each with a different title and as I made my Corfitz brand and website, I decided that this should be a complete wrap of everything I do. I am a lot of things, but you won’t be able to put it in a title. Otherwise it would be: Designer, Developer, Creative Head, Producer, Entrepreneur, Consultant & Cake-Lover.

I have boiled it all down to a fundamental term – which I may misuse in this context, but it makes sense to me. I am a business designer. It kinda wraps all my different skills and fields of interests under one term which is exactly what I like to do. I like to design businesses.

So yeah.. That’s it.. My official title from today is Business Designer. Let’s hope it will stick for a while.
